KMA has three overseas offices, one in Japan, one in Singapore, and the other in Seoul, South Korea. The Singapore office opened in November 2007 with a focus on shipping, and the Seoul office opened in 2011 for trading purposes.

KMA REAL ESTATE

KMA Real Estate Development began operations in 2005 by buying land in major cities across Myanmar including Yangon. The company then developed projects on this land, including housing, shopping centers and offices.

The company has also bought land in Shan state, Bago region, Mandalay region and greater Yangon, for real estate development and industrial zones.

As of 2017, it is seeking partners for 11 sites in Yangon. Please see the link on the right hand of this page for further information on these sites.

KMA CONSTRUCTION

KMA Construction was also formed in 2005 to work alongside KMA Real Estate Development. It is also known as Bayintnaung Construction.

The company has since built hotels, banks, resorts, warehouses and housing units across the country.

OTHER RELATED GROUP ACTIVITIES

A planned $500m industrial park known as Kaytumadi near the 153rd mile of the Yangon-Mandalay Express-way faced delays due to local opposition and protests. It reached agreement with local farmers on compensation fees for the land allocated for the park and work is expected to start in 2016.

KMA Group is planning two industrial zones in Yangon's South Dagon and Hlegu township by 2017, with approval requested from MIC.

As of August 2018, KMA Group of Companies invites interested companies to help implement projects including building construction, land preparation and road/bridge construction in Bago, Taungoo, Taunggyi and Sittwe townships.

In August 2018, Kaung Myanmar Aung (KMA) Group, held a press conference to publicise its construction of a new five-star hotel named "Shwe Pyi Soe hotel" in Kawthaung.

In October 2018, Kawthaung township residents protest the land ownership of "Shwe Pyi Soe" project, which is to be developed by KMA in the township in south Tanintharyi Region.
